India M. Brown, MBA, CPC, is a small business owner and entrepreneur. She is the CEO/President of Brown Design & Workflow Creations, LLC, DBA PMPHASE Consulting Firm. Her work in healthcare expands over 25 years with a focus on IT project management. Her portfolio includes projects in both healthcare and the legal industry. Working as a project manager, she primarily focuses on opportunities and optimization for healthcare revenue cycle management, electronic medical record conversions, and implementation. She has a passion for training, education, and development. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Leadership Development. She is also a certified professional coder (CPC) and an active member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC).
India is affiliated with multiple local and national mentoring programs as well as various entrepreneurial leadership groups. She takes pride in working with and mentoring young professionals, small business owners, and innovators. Her consulting firm partners with several local community supporters and grassroot organizations to help provide a platform for networking groups. While “All jobs are projects” is her business mantra, she also personally believes that you have to “Check in on you.” Periodic self-assessment is needed to be sustainable at any level in your life.
India is an avid traveler both domestically and abroad. She and her family enjoy the benefits of learning and engaging in the different cultures around the world. She believes in the power of words and positive energy and how they can be used to uplift and motivate others. Her children, husband, and close friends are her source of motivation and spiritual uplifting.
